Quand on interrogeait Barbara sur ses idées, elle répondait inlassablement : « Avez-vous écouté mes chansons ? Ce que je dis dans mes chansons, c’est ce que je pense. » Miz B., personnage asexué, créature non genrée, s’inspire largement de cette posture pour raconter sa vie et ses idées à travers un répertoire de chansons, en compagnie de Mr G. pianiste émérite. Chanter pour dire, pour ressentir, pour ne pas oublier.

À première vue, pas de grand fil dramaturgique. Plutôt une avalanche d’histoires sans liens. Quoique. Sous des dessous parfois frivoles et légers, le duo pose des questions plus profondes : l’acceptation de la violence, les luttes amoureuses, les pêchés originels, la domination masculine silencieuse et complice, être seul et voir les autres… On traverse alors des vies d’amours. De soi. De l’autre. Des autres.

Accompagnés d’auteur·rices (M. Chollet, V. Despentes, W. Delorme, E. Louis) et de musicien·nes (de Ginette Garcin à Serge Gainsbourg en passant par Stromae), Miz B. & Mr G. proposent un spectacle où l’on chante, où l’on pleure, où l’on rit (beaucoup) et où l’on boit. Un grand moment de partage et de vie.

When Barbara was asked about her ideas, she replied tirelessly: « Have you listened to my songs? What I say in my songs is what I think.” Miz B., an asexual character, a non-gendered creature, is largely inspired by this posture to tell his life and ideas through a repertoire of songs, in the company of Mr. G. distinguished pianist. Singing to say, to feel, not to forget.

At first glance, no great dramaturgical thread. Rather an avalanche of stories without links. Although. Beneath sometimes frivolous and light undergarments, the duo asks deeper questions: acceptance of violence, amorous struggles, original sins, silent and complicit male domination, being alone and seeing others… One then crosses the lives of loves. Of oneself. Of the other. Of others.

Accompanied by authors (M. Chollet, V. Despentes, W. Delorme, E. Louis) and musicians (from Ginette Garcin to Serge Gainsbourg via Stromae), Miz B. & Mr G. offer a show where one sings, where one cries, where one laughs (a lot) and where one drinks. A great moment of sharing and life.

Wenn man Barbara nach ihren Ideen fragte, antwortete sie unermüdlich: Habt ihr meine Lieder gehört? In meinen Liedern sage ich, was ich denke.» Miz B., asexueller Charakter, nicht-geschlechtliches Wesen, lässt sich weitgehend von dieser Haltung inspirieren, um sein Leben und seine Ideen durch ein Repertoire von Liedern zu erzählen, in der Gesellschaft von Mr. G. emeritierter Pianist. Singen, um zu sagen, zu fühlen, nicht zu vergessen.

Auf den ersten Blick keine dramaturgischen Zusammenhänge. Eher eine Lawine von unzusammenhängenden Geschichten. Obwohl. Unter dem manchmal frivolen und leichten Hintergrund stellt das Duo tiefere Fragen: die Akzeptanz von Gewalt, die Liebeskämpfe, die ursprünglichen Sünden, die stille und komplizenhafte männliche Dominanz, allein sein und andere sehen… Man durchlebt dann Liebesleben. Von sich selbst. Vom anderen. Von den anderen.

Begleitet von Autoren (M. Chollet, V. Despentes, W. Delorme, E. Louis) und Musikern (von Ginette Garcin bis Serge Gaisnbourg über Stromae), bieten Miz B. & Mr. G. eine Show an, bei der man singt, weint, lacht (viel) und trinkt. Ein großer Moment des Teilens und des Lebens.
