Après la mort d’une de leur collègue des suites du Covid 19, l’équipe des soignants de la Villa d’Épidaure, un EHPAD spécialisé dans la maladie d’Alzheimer, décide de filmer son quotidien. Débuté au plus fort de la crise, le documentaire témoigne « de l’intérieur » de l’ensemble de l’année 2020, année où la question sanitaire est au centre de toutes les attentions. Échanges à bâton rompus entre collègues, moments d’une rare authenticité avec les résidents, témoignages des peurs et des espoirs face caméra… le spectateur, plongé au cœur de ce qui fait le sens et le cœur du métier de soignant, découvre un nouvel éclairage de la crise du COVID.

After the death of one of their colleague due to Covid 19, the team of caregivers at the Villa d’Épidaure, an EHPAD specialized in Alzheimer’s disease, decides to film her daily life. Begun at the height of the crisis, the documentary reflects « from within » the entire year 2020, a year when the health issue is at the center of all attention. Exchanges at breakneck between colleagues, moments of rare authenticity with the residents, testimonies of fears and hopes in front of the camera… the spectator, plunged into the heart of what makes the meaning and the heart of the profession of caregiver, discovers a new lighting of the COVID crisis.

Nach dem Tod eines ihrer Kollegen durch die Folgen von Covid 19 beschließt das Pflegeteam der Villa d’Épidaure, einem auf die Alzheimer-Krankheit spezialisierten Pflegeheim, ihren Alltag zu filmen. Der auf dem Höhepunkt der Krise gestartete Dokumentarfilm zeigt «von innen» das gesamte Jahr 2020, in dem die Gesundheitsfrage im Mittelpunkt steht. Brisante Gespräche zwischen Kollegen, Momente seltener Authentizität mit den Bewohnern, Zeugnisse von Ängsten und Hoffnungen vor der Kamera… Der Betrachter, eingetaucht in das Herz dessen, was den Sinn und das Herz des Pflegeberufs ausmacht, entdeckt ein neues Licht auf die COVID-Krise.
